The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role. Some roles at Liberty Mutual have a corresponding compensation plan which may include commission and/or bonus earnings at rates that vary based on multiple factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.
DescriptionThe GRS Global Expense team is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst with strong financial knowledge and analytic skills. This role will have responsibilities related to monthly reporting and the annual budgeting & forecasting process for North America. A key focus will be collaborating with the segment plan teams to help establish strategic financial direction for the business while operating in deadline focused, fast-paced environment. As part of the GRS Global Expense team, this role will interact often with the North America GRS reporting segment as well as across other Global functions with the Global Expense organization.

Responsibilities:
Produces highly complex ad hoc and on-going financial reports that assist the business in making decisions, effectively communicating trends and outcomes to senior management.
Helps to develop accurate financial plans by effective budgeting, monitoring, and problem solving.
Produces complex management reports and associated analysis, ensuring accuracy and relevance to the business.
Interacts with management to explain the budget or financial planning process, identify factors impacting expenses or financial trends, highlight opportunities for improvement and create effective exhibits to explain business budgets.
Continually assesses the business value and efficiency of the work performed, identifying, and implementing improvements.

Note: You will be required to go into the office twice a week if you reside within a 50-mile radius of our offices in Boston, MA. Please note that this policy is subject to change.
QualificationsBachelor`s degree (Finance or Accounting) is required.
Minimum of 3 years of finance experience.
Must demonstrate attention to detail in a fast-paced work environment and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously to drive results.
Communicates effectively with teammates and others, leading meetings and interacting with increasingly higher levels of management to gather information and effectively present results and recommendations.
Advanced knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Word is preferred.
