Senior Financial Analyst Glanbia Join this dynamic team focused on delivering better nutrition for every step of life's journey The Opportunity This position is a part of the Glanbia Nutritionals (GN) Operations Centers of Excellence Finance team. Our team is responsible for all the financial reporting, planning, and analysis for GN Operations which includes manufacturing plants across USA, Canada, Germany and China. By collaborating with various business partners, our team is responsible for centralizing the financial operational information and providing month end/periodic planning overhead review, analysis and reporting to the Function heads/ Senior executives. Our team is also to provide all types of ad-hoc financial analysis required by Senior executives and leadership to drive the strategic decisions and monitor critical KPIs in real-time. This permanent position will report to the Finance Manager.
Prepare periodic plans for GN manufacturing cost globally, including budget, forecast and 3-5 strategic planningPrepare the periodic payroll planning for joint venturesPerform various financial modeling and analysis to support forecast, strategic decision-making, risk evaluation, and scenario planning.Preparing the Capex monthly report and periodic planning for depreciationPreparing the freight reports include weekly pricing update, monthly report and accrualsPreparing Non-Cheese Freight BudgetAnalysis of the month end accounts for GN manufacturing cost, complete variance analysis and provide main driver summary.Assist with preparation of the monthly COO Report and complete month end closing tasks within assigned deadlines.Responsible for monthly cost analysis for the Centers of Excellence, which include Quality, Procurement, Engineering, Supply Chain and Technical Services.Ad hoc analysis and project work as required by the Centers of Excellence or GN Operations Senior Leader Team The Skills you will bring to the team Requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of five years related experience. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Power PointInitiative and ability to work in team environmentDriven, energetic results oriented individual with the ability to thrive under pressurized conditionsStrong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.Drives excellent performance without being close supervised.
