Role Overview We're seeking a highly skilled and entrepreneurial Senior Financial Analyst to drive our financial strategy and support our rapid growth.
This role is ideal for a finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced, data-driven environment and can translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
As the "brains" of our company, you'll be part of the executive staff, recommending direction and analyzing costs, landed costs, COGS, and competitive pricing strategies across e-commerce marketplaces.
Location: Forest Lake, MN (100% on-site with some flexibility)

Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models for profitability projections and COGS assessments across our 6000+ product linesConduct in-depth analysis of costing and profitability data to optimize margins and suggest strategic directionsCreate and implement financial processes and structures to support our scaling operationsAnalyze and report on key financial metrics, providing regular updates to senior managementLead projects related to COGS, landing costs, and other variable costs affected by seasonal and supply chain factorsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to drive financial performance and support business strategiesEnsure compliance with financial regulations and company policiesAnalyze complex problems and provide strategic solutions with a solid understanding of marketplace rules, especially AmazonOptimize and lead teams, serving as a centerpiece of the company's operations Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or relevant certification (CMA, CPA) is a plus5-7+ years of experience in financial analysis, with a focus on e-commerce or marketplace analysisExpert-level proficiency in Excel, Power BI, NetSuite ERP, Snowflake, and SQLStrong understanding of international finance, including experience with tariffs, duty drawbacks, and TIFsProven track record in costing analysis, profitability optimization, and financial modelingExperience in scaling financial operations in a high-growth environmentExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear insightsStrong communication skills and ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholdersExperience with various e-commerce platforms and understanding of their specific rules and regulationsKnowledge of international trade practices, particularly in Canada, EU, UK, and sourcing from China, India, and Pakistan Ideal Candidate Thrives in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environmentSelf-starter who can create structure in an evolving business landscapeDemonstrates drive to see projects from inception to completionAbility to quickly analyze data, create actionable plans, and execute effectivelyComfortable diving deep into details while maintaining a strategic perspectiveAdaptable to seasonal demands and changing market conditionsHas a vision for what "right" looks like and understands business needs and levers to increase profitabilityTakes ownership and moves initiatives forward with a sense of urgency Company Culture and Work Environment Collaborative startup environment where roles often involve wearing multiple hats and supporting various departmentsFriendly atmosphere with a winning attitudeEmployees are quick to help, fill gaps, and be part of solutionsOpportunity to make significant impacts and steer your departmentLatitude to build trust, develop processes, and shape your role Why Go Bare?
