Position: Sr. Financial Analyst (FP&A)
Location: Boston, MA area (*Framingham, Newton, Ashland)
Industry: Manufacturing (Multi-Site/Multi-State)
Salary: $130,000-$155,000+ Base, plus Bonus (based on experience)
We are actively searching to fill a Sr. Financial Analyst (FP&A) role as we merge our manufacturing locations and establish our new offices in the greater Boston area.
The new FP& A candidate will be a strategic problem-solver with the ability to prioritize financial deliverables, anticipate financial challenges, and find opportunities for financial growth and success.
With a background in manufacturing the new candidate will be ready to add value to our vision and guide us to "make things happen" while demonstrating the following:
Core Competencies - Provided support to all month, quarter, year-end closing procedures
- Independently managed financial modeling reporting to Finance
- Managed working capital, forecasting, modeling and budgeting
- Guide/educate managers on financial issues impacting their budgets
- Manage P&L, balance sheet and cash flow on present and future
Financial Ownership - Ensure that finance is aligned with stated goals and objectives
- Monitor compliance and discrepancies (actual or projected)
- Work with data analytics platforms (i.e, Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx)
- Lead cash generation via strategic management of working capital
- Identify problems/opportunities, analyze the impact on the business
Leadership Characteristics - Can identify opportunities & analyze the impact on the business
- Ability to work in a lean, collaborative, think-outside the box environment
- An extremely detailed oriented individual who digs in at every level
- Ability to create new systems & processes to address our growing needs
- Extreme attention to detail, this cannot be over emphasized enough
Role Requirements - 5+yrs FP&A experience in a 100+m manufacturing or engineered env.,
- Extensive work with systems implementations & data analytics platforms
- Bachelor's degree with an Advance Degree (a plus)
- Local candidates from the greater Boston area (required)
