Senior Full Stack Software Engineer

Please note: This is a W2 role, and the client prefers consultants from North Carolina, New York and Santa Monica, CA.
Basic Qualification: 5+ years of software engineering experience
Experience in programming with Backend and Frontend UI development and proficiency with one or more general purpose programming languages (Python, Java, Javascript, etc)
Desire to work in a start-up, fast-growth, or rapid-change environment
Problem-solving skills to identify the root cause
Solid communication skills written, and oral
Understanding of agile methodologies and git source control
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or comparable field of study, and/or equivalent work experience
Preferred Qualification: Experience with AWS technologies and cloud infrastructure
Experience integrating media players into web applications
Solid understanding of web accessibility fundamentals.
Strong knowledge to web standards and new technologies.
Understanding of async programming models (events, callbacks, promises, async/await) and threading/concurrency
Understanding of source control concepts and systems, CI/CD pipelines and exposure to Git
Experience with build and deployment technologies such as Jenkins and Docker. Experience with messaging technologies (e.g., Kafka, Kinesis, SQS, etc.)
Responsibilities Craft web application software using REACT, with strong software development fundamentals and strong design principles (object oriented or functional)
Manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables
Contribute to a culture of collaboration and innovation
Build quality products
Provide on-call rotational support as needed
