This role involves leading geologic aspects of geotechnical projects, conducting critical analyses, preparing comprehensive reports, and mentoring junior geologists.

Key Responsibilities: Geotechnical Project Review: Lead expert for reviewing geologic aspects of projects. Slope Stability Analyses: Conduct detailed stability assessments and recommend mitigation strategies. Fault Investigations: Perform investigations to evaluate seismic hazards. Ground Motion Hazard Analyses: Analyze seismic impact on structures and infrastructure. Geologic Hazard Reports: Prepare reports for educational institutions and OSHPD projects. Mentorship: Guide junior geologists towards obtaining their PG and CEG certifications. Regional Leadership: Support all NorCal offices with expert guidance. Professional Associations: Participate in associations like AEG to maintain industry presence. Business Development: Assist with business development using technical expertise. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Geology or related field; Master's preferred. Experience: Minimum 10 years in geologic investigations and hazard analysis. Certifications: Must have a current PG license and CEG certification. Skills: Proficiency in analyses, strong report-writing, leadership, and communication skills.
