**Job Responsibilities:** + Perform and manage geotechnical engineering investigations and studies + Work closely with clients, including owners, architects, and other design professionals to determine project needs + Prepare scopes of service, proposals, and budget estimates + Work closely with project management and field staff to provide technical recommendations + Train, mentor and guide graduate professionals + Analyze field and laboratory data + Prepare and review geotechnical engineering reports + Other duties include geotechnical plan review, business development, and attending project design and construction meetings when needed **Qualifications:** + B.S. in Civil Engineering required; Master's degree preferred + Utah PE registration is required. + 6 or more years of experience in geotechnical engineering or related discipline preferred + Utah project experience preferred + Must possess strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills + Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical capabilities + Ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment + Valid Utah Driver's License and clean DMV report are a must + Willing to market to new clients **About UES** UES is a national leader in Geotechnical Engineering, Construction Materials Testing and Inspection, Building Code Compliance, Environmental Consulting, Occupational Health & Safety, Virtual Design Consulting, and Building Envelope.
