As a highly talented GIS Analyst, you will be faced with challenging GIS projects in the fields of Engineering and Architecture. The individual must be able to demonstrate established knowledge in field data collection, GIS principles, cartography, and / or geospatial data management.Ability to teach and train internal users with basic to advanced GIS operations.Basic understanding of CAD.Knowledge of Local/State/Federal/NGO data sources.Desire to network and be involved in the local and state GIS community.Advanced understanding of data collection and GIS for asset management.Advanced understanding of data management, QAQC processes, and data integrity.Basic understanding of Engineering and Construction especially in the water and wastewater.Basic understanding of indoor mapping.Ability to communicate with people of diverse backgrounds and knowledge of GIS.Sets up data and maps for field data collection.Researches Python scripting to leverage the advantages of python code.Converts data from GIS to CAD and other formats.Processes data into DEMs for CAD backgrounds/surfaces to understand how to make LIDAR data easier to use without sacrificing data integrity and accuracy.Education/Experience Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) or related field.
