Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions (BEWS) is the group responsible for leading Ericsson's Enterprise Networking and Security business. Our growing product portfolio spans across wide area networks, local area networks and enterprise security. We are the #1 global market leader in Wireless-WAN based enterprise connectivity solutions and are growing fast in enterprise Private 5G networks and Secure Access Services Edge (SASE) solutions.

How Will You Contribute to the Company? 

We are looking for an experienced, collaborative, and well-rounded attorney to join Ericsson's world-class legal team supporting BEWS.  This is an exciting opportunity to help shape a rapidly evolving global business by developing innovative and pragmatic legal solutions to enable business growth.    The role will work closely with our global sales teams to negotiate complex commercial contracts with our channel partners and customers.  There will also be an opportunity to provide strategic and legal guidance on a variety of other commercial contracts and to, provide general legal counseling to our internal clients on a variety of topics.  This is a great opportunity and environment for an experienced in house lawyer to continue to grow and develop.

Reporting to the Head of Legal for BEWS, the Senior Group Legal Counsel will be encouraged to independently support internal clients worldwide as well as to work closely with other team members.  We are looking for someone who has impeccable integrity, strong business acumen, and a willingness to learn.  You will find that we have endless opportunities to jump in and get directly involved in exciting and challenging projects that have a meaningful impact on the business. 

What Will You Do?
Provide highly efficient and quality legal guidance and strategic advice to BEWS, including leading complex commercial transactions on a global scale;
Draft, review, and negotiate agreements and other legal documents, including a variety of customer and partner transactions such as distribution, reseller, alliance, and other strategic relationship agreements;
Work with cross-functional teams to provide business structuring, new product go-to-market, and business model support;
Ensure compliance with applicable global laws, regulations, and internal policies and directives;
Provide legal training as well as legal advice to employees at all levels, including high level executives;
Manage and control external legal resources. 

Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum Education: J.D. required.  
Minimum Years of Experience: 10+ years' experience required, ideally with previous in-house experience.  
Membership in a state bar in good standing required.  
Experience negotiating complex commercial agreements.  

Preferred Qualifications: 
Recognized experience, skills and competence to independently handle a variety of legal matters.  
Good knowledge and skills to support a SaaS, cloud-based technology company, including on data privacy and security topics. 
Ability to handle any counterparty during negotiations and to work with senior-level managers and executives.
Interest and understanding of business strategies, technology, and proven financial understanding and awareness.
Strong track record of integrity and collaboration.  
Effective communication skills. 
Flexibility to effectively deal with high-volume, rapid cycles, multiple assignments, concurrent deadlines, and changing priorities.
