We are looking for a Senior Human Resources Operations Specialist who will be essential to the success of our HR Service Center and the broader HR organization. This role will manage all aspects of the employee life cycle, including onboarding, offboarding, and everything in between. Additionally, it will support key annual HR processes such as performance management, compensation planning, and more. The Specialist will also play a critical role in our HRIS platform, supporting process design and testing. This position requires comprehensive knowledge in these areas and the ability to execute both strategic and tactical responsibilities.
This is not just a position but a hands-on role. The Senior HR Operations Specialist will actively implement and optimize key HR process areas and serve as a strategic partner to site HR Business Partners. This role is required to be onsite at our Huntersville, NC location.
Tasks included but not limited to: Onboarding ProcessesCentralize onboarding from offer accept to-day-oneOversee and continually improve onboarding processes across all locations and functionsWork with cross-functional teams to create and maintain comprehensive onboarding schedulesDevelop and update onboarding materials and resourcesImplement improvements based on feedback and metricsEnsure consistency in onboarding experience across locationsMonitor onboarding effectiveness through regular audits and feedback collectionEnsure accurate data is recorded Offboarding ProcessesSupport respectful exits from the organization Manage unemployment claimsManage transition out support and vendor Program SupportPerformance Management – in conjunction with Manager of Talent design yearly forms, execute training, monitor progress, and moreCompensation Planning – monitor completion, support managers, create roll up of spend for approval, and moreBenefits Enrollment – support the Benefits Manager in preparing for open enrollment, reconcile annual invoices, respond to employee/manager inquiries, and any compliance reporting.
