Our client, a leading industrial company, is seeking a Senior HVAC Specialist to join their team. As a Senior HVAC Specialist, you will be part of the Maintenance department supporting the HVAC team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, be self-motivated, and have the ability to work efficiently under stressful situations, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?
Troubleshoots, repairs, and overhauls equipment such as condenser units, pumps, air handlers, heat exchangers, other environmental changing devices, and other mechanical equipment.
Installs, maintains temperature control system, electric valves, heat transfer equipment, ventilation, and air distribution equipment.
Installs and replaces all types of pumps or refrigeration equipment according to prints, specifications, diagrams, or other instructions.
Reads gauges and instruments, and adjusts mechanisms such as valves, controls, and pumps to control the level of fluid pressure and distribution in systems.
Operates various refrigeration recovery equipment in compliance with EPA guidelines.
What's Needed?
Completion of a two-year technical college degree program for industrial refrigeration maintenance or Certified Industrial Refrigeration Operator (CIRO) and a minimum of 2 years of experience in operation and maintenance in refrigeration with practical and demonstrated experience.
Must have working knowledge of freon, boilers, compressors, motors, pumps, sheet metal, grease, oil, and belt applications.
Be self-motivated and demonstrate skill, initiative, and judgment to make decisions and communicate these decisions with departmental supervisory for approval.
Have basic knowledge of plant electrical AC/DC power and control systems associated with refrigeration equipment to provide support in equipment installation, troubleshooting, and repair of refrigeration and boiler electrical components.
Demonstrated ability to perform precision welding meeting food plant sanitary standards using MIG wire-feed, and heli-arc on stainless steel applications. Be able to perform precision cutting using a plasma torch.
