What we're looking for As a Senior Information Systems Automation and AI Engineer, you will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of automation programs, including AI-driven solutions, to streamline productivity and enhance operational efficiency across the SurveyMonkey enterprise. Leveraging your expertise with platforms like UiPath and SharePoint, proficiency in Python, and proven success in applying AI tools such as ChatGPT to Sales and Marketing initiatives, you will spearhead strategic efforts to automate repetitive tasks and transform business operations.

This role combines technical expertise with strategic vision to develop scalable, impactful solutions that align with SurveyMonkey's digital transformation objectives, driving measurable improvements in productivity and efficiency.

What you'll be working on Automation and AI Strategy Development:
Define and lead enterprise-level strategies for Automation and AI, aligning investments with company goals, quantifying business cases, and advocating for scalable, high-impact solutions. Solution Design and Implementation:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, define requirements, and design or deploy AI-based and automation solutions, leveraging technologies such as LLMs, and Robotic Process Automation that streamline workflows, improve productivity, and enhance stakeholder experiences. Technical Expertise and System Performance:
Provide technical leadership in designing high-performing, scalable products, monitor performance, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.Stakeholder Collaboration and Engagement:Partner with executive stakeholders and cross-functional leads to identify opportunities, align solutions with broader business objectives, drive operational efficiency, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.Innovation and Mentorship:Stay at the forefront of industry trends through R&D, proof-of-concept cycles, and pilot programs while mentoring junior engineers and sharing best practices in automation and AI. We'd love to hear from people with Extensive Experience in Automation and AI Solutions: 8+ years of working experience in technology, data architecture, and AI-driven solutions, with hands-on expertise in Robotic Process Automation (e.g., UiPath) and AI technologies like ChatGPT and NLP models, integrating solutions with other systems such as databases, Customer Relationship Management (Salesforce), Enterprise Resource Planning (Netsuite). Technical Mastery Across Tools and Environments: Deep knowledge of programming languages (Python, SQL) and business intelligence tools (Tableau), with proficiency in cloud-based platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) data architecture, and successfully use APIs to streamline solutions throughout Survey Monkey's ecosystem (e.g. Outreach, ZoomInfo, HubSpot). Data-Driven Innovation: Proven ability to leverage data-driven product design and architecture to create impactful, scalable, and sustainable automation and AI solutions. Problem Solving and Stakeholder Collaboration: Exceptional analytical skills for solving complex challenges, with proven ability to present technical information and ROI-focused business cases to executive stakeholders and drive cross-functional alignment. Educational Background and Business Acumen: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent experience, coupled with the ability to quantify ROI and align technology investments with business goals. SurveyMonkey believes in-person collaboration is valuable for building relationships, fostering community, and enhancing our speed and execution in problem-solving and decision-making. As such, you will be required to work from a SurveyMonkey office up to 1 day per week. The base pay provided for this position ranges from $125,375 / year - $169,625 / year depending on the geographic market and assuming a full-time schedule. Actual base pay is based on a number of factors including market location, job-related knowledge, education or training, skills, and experience.

Bonuses and commissions may also be offered as part of the total compensation package, in addition to a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401(k) retirement plan; flexible spending & health savings account; paid holidays; paid time off; employee assistance program; and other company benefits.
