Essential Position Responsibilities: The Senior System Engineer is a technical expert who designs, develops, implements, and operates infrastructure solutions for complex systems in large global and multi-office enterprise infrastructure, including servers, storage, virtualization, security, cloud services, and data centers.

Responsible for the installation and configuration of new software, hardware, and cloud services Responsible for managing open-source solutionsResponsible for managing automation tools.Responsible for monitoring system performance, system operations, and storage utilization.Plans for necessary hardware or software upgrades to support system growth.Provide support with escalated helpdesk requests.Leads a team of systems administrators, and coordinates with different departments.Leads team of helpdesk support engineers Mentors team members and educates users.Maintain strong technical documentationImplement, operate, and maintain company security standard Supporting automation initiatives Flexibility to work with Asia/Brazil Time zonesOther duties and projects as assigned Job Requirements: Education: BS degree in computer science or related field
Current VMWare or Microsoft Certification desired
Experience: 9~12 years of experience working in the information technology sector
Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to manage own time effectively and to be prompt and punctualExperience in working effectively within a team and collaborating with others to achieve a goal.Demonstrable ability to think around issues and look at the wider picture to provide solutions through a variety of problem-solving techniques.Drive, self-motivation, and ability to work under self-initiative.Ability to produce management information reports from ITSM systems.Installation, Configuration, and troubleshooting of the PC/Laptops/Mobile, Servers, Backups and VMwareStrong Experience in Configuration & Troubleshooting of Ubuntu Linux, Windows 2019/2022 Servers, and Windows 10/11 Knowledge of scripting/PowerShell, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS and DHCP, RAID types, Skype for business, servers, and virtualizationResolve issues with M365, Email, skype for business, and Mobile device management.Working Knowledge of Networking (TCP/IP), LAN/WAN systems, LAN protocols, VPN/SSL solutions, and Antivirus/Malware solutions.Experience in performing daily tasks like monitoring Backups and Restores of critical dataEnthusiastic about learning new technologies (Problem Solving) Proven ability to contribute to the analysis and fix IT problems.(Teamwork) Work with teams globally to implement large-scale IT initiatives.(Listening Communication Skills) Leads through listening to others and articulating clear, compelling messages
