As a Senior Investment Associate at BluePointe Capital, you will play a pivotal role in contributing to the overall success of our investment program. The ideal candidate will have:
A strong background in financeDeep knowledge of investment strategiesThe ability to execute portfolio rebalancingExperience with portfolio management software (Addepar or similar)Responsibilities: 1. Research and Analytics: Assist the Director of Investment Strategy in the collection and oversight of investment data.Support research on various asset classes, investment opportunities and financial products.Contribute to investment committee discussions on asset allocation models and strategy.2. Associate Relationship Manager: Assist the CEO in managing their client book; understanding their financial objectives, risk tolerance and investment preferences.Implement and monitor asset allocation strategy, making adjustments as necessary to optimize portfolio performance in line with allocation targets and other client goals.Monitor and analyze the impact of market events on portfolios, working with the Director of Investment Strategy to make proactive adjustments to ensure risk levels are within defined parameters.Communicate investment strategies and portfolio performance clearly and effectively to clients, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.Series 65 or Series 7 license.At least three years of experience at a registered investment advisory firm or similar financial/brokerage background with portfolio responsibilities.Knowledge of financial markets, investment strategies (traditional and alternative asset classes) and portfolio management techniques.Strong analytical skills and the ability to make informed, data-driven investment recommendations.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client engagement.Ability to work collaboratively and independently within an entrepreneurial environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.BluePointe offers a hybrid work environment. The preferred location for this position is California but other geographies will be considered.
