We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Sr. IT Administrator to join our growing team.
Responsibilities Collaborate with business leaders to identify technology solutions that address organizational needsOversee IT projects and initiativesDesign, implement, and maintain IT infrastructureEnsure optimal performance, reliability, and security of IT systemsManage IT assets and inventory. Research and specify hardware, software, and service purchasesMentor, train, and supervise junior IT staffCreate documentation of systems and processesWork with vendors and contractorsTroubleshoot issues and perform root cause analysisProvide advanced support to internal employees, both on-site and remote, with a variety of hardware, software, and other technical issuesPerform tasks related to IT-managed campus amenities (e.g., video displays, audio systems, security systems)Assist infrastructure, network and server teams as needed with rollouts, deployments, preventative maintenance and other projects or initiatives as neededSet up equipment for meetings, tradeshows, and other special eventsConduct technical training for employeesOther IT related duties as assigned by the managerWho You Are Have strong analytical and problem-solving skillsHave excellent interpersonal and communication skillsWilling to travel to local data centers, respond to after-hours emergencies, or work after-hours for planned maintenanceAbility to independently evaluate and prioritize incidents and diligently deploy or provide solutionsQualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, information systems, or similar7-10 years of progressive experienceKnowledge of hand tools and how to operate safely within IT spacesExpertise with Windows Enterprise, Server, Office, Exchange, Active Directory, Group Policy, PowerShellAdvanced understanding of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPN, firewalls, VLANsAbility to install and terminate network and low voltage cablingPhysically able to lift up to 50 lbs.What We Offer The EarthCam package includes excellent salaries, bonuses, benefits, and constant opportunities for development – designed to create an entrepreneurial, invigorating and satisfying environment.
