Senior ITAR Compliance Specialist (Secret clearance) - Remote OptionsAqua-IT is HIRING a Senior ITAR Compliance Specialist (Secret) to support a DoS contract!
What you will be working on: We are seeking someone that has deep experience with Defense trade compliance (ITAR, etc). You can expect to analyze infractions or potential infractions and provide feedback to necessary parties and potential enforcement activities, if applicable. This includes initiating requests and documentation and then closing and updating documentation. Active Secret and you will be sponsored for Top Secret. Local travel expectation is up to 15%. International travel may occur only if there is a MAJOR infraction.
What you will bring to us (Must): Bachelor's degree and 5-7 years of experienceActive Secret clearance, able to obtain Top SecretSignificant defense trade and ITAR experienceBe ready to provide examples of investigations for compliance, an example of a violation you dealt with – what happened, what did you do, what was the outcome?Well organizedWould be nice if you bring the following (Highly Desired): Familiar with DoS databasesLocation: Worksite Locations (When onsite is required): Washington DC, 2 days work from home, 3 days onsite
