The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java/J2EE technologies, Spring Framework, and various integration technologies, as well as expertise in working with databases, UNIX/Linux environments, and deployment pipelines. The role involves developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting complex Java applications. You will be working closely with business and technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions. This position offers a flexible work schedule with 3 days a week in the office. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain Java/J2EE-based applications, including Spring Framework , JSP , JSF , EJB , and JMS components. Work with Spring Boot to build robust and scalable backend services. Handle JSON and XML data exchanges, including schema definitions ( XSD ), transformations ( XSLT ), and validations. Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL scripts, stored procedures, and functions for SQL Server , Sybase , and MongoDB databases. Implement JPA (Hibernate, EclipseLink) for database interactions. Administer basic configurations and deployments on WebLogic , OpenShift , and Windows Servers . Collaborate with teams using CI/CD pipelines (Git/Bitbucket, Jenkins) to ensure smooth deployments. Utilize Oracle SOA Suite for BPEL processes, data transformations, and other flow activities. Perform basic UNIX/Linux server tasks, including command-line operations and editing with the vi editor. Solve technical problems by analyzing and debugging application issues. Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and collaborative meetings. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 8+ years of professional experience as a Java Developer working with Java/J2EE technologies . Expertise in Spring Framework , Spring Boot , JSP , JSF , EJB , and JMS . Strong knowledge of JSON/XML data formats, XSD , and XSLT transformations. Proficiency in SQL and database management systems (SQL Server, Sybase, MongoDB). Experience with JPA (Hibernate, EclipseLink). Familiarity with UNIX/Linux environments (commands, vi editor ). Basic administrative skills with WebLogic , OpenShift , and Windows Servers . Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Git , Bitbucket , and Jenkins . Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
