Senior Java Developer

Compensation: $115k-$130k (depending on experience)

What you will be doing (responsibilities):

Collaborate with a team of developers to design and develop enterprise web applications, ensuring high quality and performance.
Provide technical expertise in code analysis, debugging, and troubleshooting to deliver robust solutions.
Conduct comprehensive testing, including unit testing and functional testing, to ensure all deliverables meet quality standards.
Maintain and update team documentation, including standard procedures and how-to guides.
What you need to be considered (qualifications): 8+ years of enterprise web application development experience using J2EE.
4+ years of experience with Apache Struts and Hibernate for J2EE solutions.
Proficiency in build and release management processes for J2EE applications.
Strong understanding of core Java/J2EE design patterns.
Experience with version control systems like Git.
Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Mathematics.
Ability to obtain a DoD SECRET clearance and US citizenship.
What could set you apart (preferred): Experience implementing and maintaining Java web services, particularly SOAP.
Familiarity with Maven for Java application build and deployment.
Knowledge of Azure application service development using Tomcat.
Experience with unit and integration testing.
Understanding of secure programming practices and remediation of code analyzer findings.
Proficiency in data modeling, SQL programming, and data management for web applications.
Prior involvement in Department of Defense enterprise application development.
