The Role:Cognizant is looking for an experienced and innovative Java Dev w/ AWS to serve our diverse base of global clients. Location: McLean, VARoles & Responsibilities :Designing Enterprise Solution using Java, J2EE, Spring Boot and related Java Technology stackWork on Design PatternsWork on developing highly scalable enterprise-level web applications and RESTful APIs using Microservices.Work on Java Spring Boot implementationsWork on DevopsWork on AWSDemonstrate strong design and programming skills using JSON, Web Services, XML, XSLT, PL/SQLWork on implementation of Industry Standard protocols related API Security including OAuth.Effective Client communicationQualifications:Min. 06+ years of IT experience in implementing Java 8, J2EE and related Java technologiesWorking and Hands on experience on AWSWorking and Hands on experience on DevOpsGained experience in Design Patterns.Experience in implementing Java Spring BootExcellent expertise in Java 8, Multithreading, Microservices,Proficiency in Advanced SQLGood exposure and progressive experience working on AWS Cloud and integrationsStrong hands-on experience on Spring core and Spring JPAExperienced in using GIT and MavenGood with CI/CD - JenkinsGood written, verbal communication and documentation skills.Familiar with Agile delivery processMust be analytical and self-motivated.Work Effectively within a global team environment.Desired:Java/J2EE, Spring boot, Microservices and AWS

Salary and Other Compensation:The annual salary for this position is between $68,422K – $114,000K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
