Senior Java Full Stack Engineer We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Full Stack Engineer with 8 to 10 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in AWS, Node.js, AngularJS, Java, and JavaScript. Experience in the Payer domain is a plus. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions that drive our business forward.
Roles & Responsibilities: Design and develop high-quality software solutions using AWS, Node.js, AngularJS, Java, and JavaScript. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs. Maintain code quality, organization, and automation. Participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality standards. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers. Work closely with product managers to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Develop and execute unit tests to ensure software quality. Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the software development process. Ensure that software solutions are secure and compliant with industry standards. Document software designs and code to ensure maintainability and knowledge transfer. Qualifications: Possess a strong background in AWS, Node.js, AngularJS, Java, and JavaScript. Demonstrate experience in designing and developing scalable software solutions. Have a good understanding of software development best practices and methodologies. Show proficiency in debugging and troubleshooting complex software issues. Exhibit excellent communication and collaboration skills. Experience in the Payer domain is a plus. Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. Display a commitment to continuous learning and professional development. Show the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills. Have a proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential issues. Show the ability to mentor and guide junior team members. Exhibit a strong understanding of software security principles. The annual salary for this position is between $68,422 – $114,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
