Title: Senior KYC Specialist
Location: Fully remote
Duration: 6+ months with likely extensions
Compensation: 40-50/hr

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior KYC Analyst to assist the KYC Advisory Team with the development and implementation of the Know Your Customer (KYC) program.
This role involves providing subject matter expertise on KYC polices, ensuring regulatory compliance and supporting operational teams.
The SME will also assist in refining the KYC framework and offering guidance on complex KYC issues.
Key Responsibilities
Support the execution and continuous improvement of theKnow Your Customer (KYC) compliance program including CIP, CDD, EDD, and Customer Risk Assessment policies, processes, and procedures.
Execute Enhanced Due Diligence reviews and provide evidence-based recommendations to support decision making and action.
Contribute to the enhancement of compliance program including identifying opportunities and making recommendations for improvement of processes, controls, and technology.
Perform remediation, onboarding, and/or periodic KYC reviews for checks for compliance requirements.
Identify, analyze, and escalate compliance risks, risk events, and policy or procedure violations; provide recommendations for remediation including actions to address root causes; and monitor and report on execution and effectiveness of remediation plans.
Support KYC Committees (including the BSA Oversight Committee) by creating charts and tables and by drafting memos for presentations.
Ensures strong engagement with the KYC operations team, LOBs and 2LOD.
Qualifications:
3+ years of specialized experience in Financial Services and KYC/CDD/EDD compliance
Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices related to KYC and AML.
Familiarity with global AML/KYC regulations and industry guidelines
Proven experience of PEPs, Sanctions, and Negative Media screening
Experience conducting Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) reviews on high-risk entity types.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
