ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking a creative, innovative, and collaborative leader who is committed to design quality and passionate about sustainability to become a member of our team. As a design initiator you will lead project teams through a collaborative design process, generating and advancing thoughtful physical and environment-responsive analyses and cutting-edge design strategies for a range of project types. As a senior studio member you will interface with consultants and clients and provide guidance to staff.
Understands emerging trends in open space and landscape environmentsCollaborates on a wide variety of projects including college and university campuses, urban districts, site-specific design, and other public realm projectsManages development of design solutions and graphics to support landscape, planning, and urban design projectsLeads and manages design development and documentation including construction drawings, technical details, and specifications, and construction administrationAssembles and participates in client presentationsMaintains a professional profile as a thought leader in the field, including speaking publicly and authoring publicationsRepresents the firm at industry events, conferences, and networking functionsSecures new business through client relationship development and participates proactively in marketing effortsMentors Page landscape architects, guiding their professional development and identifying ongoing training and resource needsQualifications10+ years of landscape architecture designProfessional degree from Landscape Architectural Accreditation Board (LAAB) accredited program.License to practice landscape architecture and ability to be certified with the Council of Landscape Architectural Registration Boards.LEED accreditation is desirable and/or SITES certification (preferred)Experience managing teams across geographies.Portfolio of creative landscape architecture projects demonstrating conceptual design abilitiesUnderstanding of and ability to communicate landscape architecture concepts, objectives and critical issues graphically and verballyCommand of thoughtful programmatic and physical analysesExperience preparing and giving client and public presentationsExperience on large-scale/highly complex projects for a variety of client types.Strong knowledge of sustainable design principles and practicesExperience in business developmentProficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, ArcGIS, Revit, Rhinoceros, and/or other 3D rendering programs such as Enscape or LumionBase Compensation: $95,000-$130,000 (Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location).
