About the Role The Company is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel with a focus on upstream oil and gas to lead its U.S. legal efforts.
This role is pivotal in providing legal and commercial advice and strategy on a range of matters, including M&As, joint ventures, and various agreement issues.
The successful candidate will be a true generalist, offering practical legal and commercial guidance on acquisitions and divestments, and providing legal support and advice to various head office functions such as treasury, HR, company secretarial, tax, and finance.
The position demands a professional with a strong legal background and the ability to handle a diverse set of responsibilities within the energy sector.
Applicants for the Senior Legal Counsel position should be well-versed in upstream oil and gas legal matters, with a particular emphasis on the U.S. market.
The role requires a leader who can effectively manage and oversee the company's legal interests in a dynamic and challenging industry.
