Senior Library Engineer

Your mission is to create an unprecedented database of electronic components. Each entry in the database contains full information about an electronic component. This is crucial for Circuit Mind's wider mission to fuel the next wave of hardware inventions.
ResponsibilitiesRapidly create high-quality electronic component models by using our cutting edge EDA software:
? Analyse datasheets
? Validate data extracted by our preprocessing algorithms
? Enter engineering constraintsCollaborate with the rest of the library engineering team to devise clever ways to model novel electronic componentsInform the work of the internal software development team in order to enable faster and more reliable digital twin creation processesProvide input into the way components are represented:
? Report component features that are not currently in our representation
? Provide ideas on simplifying the current abstractionsMinimum RequirementsDegree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in electronics circuit design:
? Proficiency in selecting components for analogue, digital, and mixed signal circuit boards.
? Knowledge of schematic design principles for analogue, digital, and mixed signal circuit boards.
? Experience with at least one professional electronic CAD software package (Mentor, Cadence, Altium, Zuken) and willingness to learn others.Ability to work productively in a team.Ability to use Excel.Nice-to-havesExperience in schematic capture and/or component selection for relatively complex circuit boards: 100+ components, 4+ layers, high-speed digital signals, sensitive analog components.Experience in circuit analysis such as timing analysis, transient analysis, DC operating point calculations.Experience in circuit simulation and/or modelling.Knowledge of PCB layout principles for analogue, digital, and mixed signal circuit boards.Experience with creating and verifying component symbols and footprints.Collaboration with a London-based world-class team.Access to Circuit Mind's cutting edge EDA platform.Location: Units 515-517, Metal Box Factory, 30 Great Guilford Street, London SE1 0HS
