About the roleAs the Senior Lifecycle Marketing Manager, you will own the strategy and execution of our lifecycle marketing initiatives, focusing on optimizing the customer journey from acquisition through retention. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing new customer conversion, reducing churn, and increasing customer lifetime value within our customer funnel. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Data Analytics, you will deliver personalized and impactful experiences that drive business growth.
What you'll be doing:Lifecycle Marketing Strategy:Develop and implement a comprehensive lifecycle marketing strategy, addressing each stage of the customer journey.Define customer segmentation and personalization strategies to deliver relevant messaging and content.Set clear objectives and KPIs aligned with business goals, regularly reporting on progress and insights.Campaign Planning and Execution:Lead the development of onboarding programs that effectively introduce new users to key product features and benefits, accelerating time-to-value and adoption.Implement automated workflows and trigger-based communications to scale personalized outreach.Design, execute, and optimize multi-channel marketing campaigns to drive conversion, engagement, and retention.Data Analysis and Optimization:Utilize analytics tools to monitor campaign performance, user behavior, and funnel conversion rates.Conduct A/B and multivariate testing to continually improve messaging, design, and delivery.Analyze customer data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement in the lifecycle strategy.Cross-Functional Collaboration:Partner with Product and Sales teams to align lifecycle initiatives with product updates, feature launches, and user feedback.Work closely with stakeholders to understand customer needs, pain points, and success stories.Customer Advocacy and Retention:Develop programs to increase customer loyalty and advocacy, such as customer testimonials, and case studies.Proactively identify at-risk customers and implement strategies to mitigate churn.What we expect from you:5-7+ years of experience in lifecycle, retention, or CRM marketing within a SaaS subscription company.Proven track record of developing and executing successful lifecycle marketing programs in a PLG funnel.Deep understanding of SaaS metrics, customer lifecycle stages, and subscription business models.Proficiency with marketing automation platforms, CRM systems and data analysis tools. .Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable strategies.Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for cross-functional collaboration.Self-starter with a growth mindset, comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Experience with our tech stack is a plus:KlaviyoAppcuesGoogle AnalyticsMode/SnowflakeSQL (language)SalesforceBenefits:Flexible vacation policy and a fully remote work policy100% Medical/Dental/Vision insurance covered for the employee / 60%-65% covered for dependentsComprehensive 401K programFSA and Commuter BenefitsCompetitive Equity with a 4 year vesting scheduleLife / AD&D and Disability CoverageParental leave for birthing or non-birthing parents - specific to each state / 60% coverage under company secondary insurance for birthing parent
