OVERVIEW
The Senior Linux System Administrator will work in a highly collaborative, multi-platform and multi–disciplined environment, ensuring the production environment works optimally by deploying, maintaining, monitoring, and operating a large fleet of predominantly Linux servers. This role will be a subject matter expert in the configuration, operation, and administration of Windows/Linux, VMware, Active Directory, Dell, UCS, Veeam, Pure, and NetApp environments.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Assist in administration all Linux, virtual infrastructure and storage environments
Work independently or as a team in troubleshooting production incidents and outages
Work independently or as a team on Infrastructure & Security related projects tasks
Partner with application owners and vendors on planning/deploying virtual infrastructure and managing the Linux servers life cycle (build, deploy, update, decom)
As an SME, review environment & recommend new technologies, solutions & automations
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to 1st and 2nd level system administrators
Assist with project tasks and data center maintenances onsite at the Data Center
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
7+ years of Linux Administration of Ubuntu/Centos, supporting large scale Linux VMware environments (1000+ servers)
7+ years of Active Directory Administration
5+ years of Storage Administration of NetApp/Pure
5+ years of Cisco UCS Administration
5+ years of Data Center Administration
3+ years of AWS/Azure Administration
3+ years of Scripting w/ PowerShell/Bash/Python
Demonstrates methodical and logical thinking while efficiently self-managing tasks
