What does it mean to be a Senior Litigation Coordinator at GLS? The Sr. Litigation Coordinator is responsible for supporting the legal team and litigations by responding to subpoenas, maintaining litigation files, reviewing legal mail including service of process, and performing special projects as assigned by in-house counsel.
\n How will you drive value within the organization as a Senior Litigation Coordinator?Timely and thoroughly review and investigate subpoenas, including review of account records, while interacting with appropriate operational associates and pulling all relevant account records and notes Timely and accurately prepare subpoena responses for review by the Legal Support Specialist or In-house Counsel Create, maintain, and organize all new litigation files, ensuring all documents and trackers are up-to-date and easily accessible, including account notation, legal holds, and litigation holds. Provide recommendations to management related to the release of legal and litigation holds.Maintain a monthly report of active legal and litigation holdsCollect, review, and process all legal mail in a timely mannerAssist the Legal Support Specialist in the matter settlement process, including obtaining required signatures for settlement documents, requesting settlement checks, and ensuring all settlement obligations are processed within the required timeframe Support in drafting cover letters and other communications as directed by management.
