Morales Group Staffing has a confidential opportunity for a Senior Facilities and Loss Prevention Manager working for an established DTC company in the sporting goods industry. This position is located in Greenfield, Indiana. Candidates should have 5-10 years of experience in facility management and security/loss prevention. Candidates should also have experience in a highly automated distribution production facility. Salary range is $110-$140k and a 15% bonus. Looking for local candidates.
Position Summary:
The

Senior Facilities and Loss Prevention Manager

will oversee all distribution center building, grounds maintenance, warehouse material handling equipment, automation, and loss prevention. They will be responsible for ensuring the facilities are safe, up to code and fully operational. They will also be responsible for overseeing loss prevention and firearm compliance policies and procedures. This position reports directly to the Chief Operations Officer.
This is a confidential search for an established DTC company founded in the mid 1970's. The company has several established brands in the sporting goods industry. The company boasts a strong organizational culture with over 500 employees. The company is expanding to accommodate growth and building a state of the art facility. This is not "just another distribution center." The state of the art facility includes several amenities on site for employees to enjoy the products sold by the company.
The successful candidate must have the required functional expertise and a record of accomplishment of building robust organizational cultures. The company has a historically low employee turnover rate and intends to maintain that at the new DC.
Job Responsibilities:
Supports a new build and start up facility including all facility, maintenance and loss prevention phases throughout 2024 with operational "go-live" for Q1 2025.
Plans, manages and is accountable for building maintenance and operational programs.
Responsible for implementing and maintaining a 6S, Kaizen, LM, Lean environment.
Oversees day-to-day operations of Loss Prevention and Janitorial Responsivities and OSHA compliance
Manages maintenance of building, facilities, warehouse, material handling equipment and automation.
Manages and is accountable for loss prevention and security of facility.
Negotiates bids and contracts for third party vendors.
Conducts and documents regular facilities inspections.
Ensures the facilities are clean and maintained according to company policy and procedures.
Ensures security and emergency preparedness procedures are implemented properly.
Oversees safety program of facility by maintaining a safe work environment for all employees.
Supports overall firearms regulatory compliance by staying current with federal, state and local laws and regulations.
Prepares operational reports and budgets.
Assists operations with accident investigations.
Consistently leads by example and demonstrates a strong work ethic.
Is passionate, team and goal oriented to deliver results with a people first mindset.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or comparable experience with facilities management and loss prevention.
5 to 10 years of experience in facility management and security / loss prevention.
Experience in highly automated distribution production facility.
Experience with building automation systems to monitor and control HVAC, lighting, alarms and security.
Experience with OSHA compliance.
