We also help merchants connect with their customers, process exchanges and returns, and manage risk. We enable consumers to engage in cross-border shopping and merchants to extend their global reach while reducing the complexity and friction involved in enabling cross-border trade.

Job Description Summary:
At PayPal, Content Designers work side by side with UX Designers, Product Owners, and UX Researchers to create customer experiences that empower people and businesses financially around the world.

You're the ideal candidate if you're an experienced content strategist who is also a design thinker and customer champion. You can write just about anything, but you thrive in using words to solve problems and simplifying technical jargon into conversational language. You're a holistic and strategic thinker.

Whatyou'lldo at PayPal:

Help leadcontent strategyforPayPal'ssmall business productofferings,translatingglobal product requirements, user insights and dataintoclear, concise, user-centric content

Manageand set vision for asmall team of content designers, working collaboratively with visual design

Plan,designand write U.S. English content for web,web,and mobile experiences(across all touch points including navigation and UI copy, emails, in-appnotifications, chatbots, and help).

Effectively interact with and managebusiness partners from various disciplines, including creative, product,developmentand brand

Leadinternal content workshops

Present your work and articulate your approach to teammates, productowners, and leadership

Partner with Design on page layout, interactions, visual tone, and
accessibility standards

Coordinate content with Brand, Marketing, and Operations teams to ensurewe create a consistent end-to-end experience

Partner with Legal and Risk to deliver content that complies with
regulations

Use data and research to evaluate your content's impact and push forcontinuous improvement that showsreal results

Maintain and evolve PayPal's content standards, including voice and tone

Additional Job Description:

5-7 years of content strategyexperience writingcontent for interactive userexperiences as part of a product design team. May substitute up to2years ofexperience with a User Experience related degree, such as Design,

Information Science, or HCI

Fluency in written English

Confident, highly creative writing and critical-thinking skills

Experience working with content standards, such as style and voice and toneguidelines

At ease contributing to multiple projects, setting stakeholder expectations,working individually and collaborating across teams

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in English, Journalism, Communications,Marketing, Design, Information Science or related fields is appreciated but not required
