Job Description:We are seeking a highly motivated individual for the Senior Marketing Customer Data Product Manager role on the Global Technology Data & Analytics team. In this role, you'll be responsible for overseeing the data integrations for the marketer customer data platform (mCDP) to ensure that McDonald's marketers have complete, accurate, and real-time data to engage our customers. You will work closely with other customer data source systems, channels teams, the customer experience organization, and market stakeholders to drive the one McDonald's way of marketing.
The candidate for this role must have a strong understanding of key data engineering principles, big data tools, cloud platforms, and customer data platforms. Additionally, the candidate must be effective at managing stakeholders across different teams and functions of McDonald's.
Responsibilities: Lead the day-to-day operations for the Marketer Customer Data Platform (mCDP) data integrationsManage a team of McDonald's employees and consultants, including data engineers, technical business analysts, and data product managersCollaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, build solutions, and deploy to marketsParticipate in and at times lead the solution, design, and implementation activities for the overall mCDP productWork with data source systems to ensure core product centric data reliability principles are adhered to, to ensure reliability and accuracy of dataDevelop strategy and lead execution of data validation activities for markets coming onto the mCDP product to ensure successful data migrationAttend weekly product education and Q&A sessions with markets who are coming onto the mCDP productSupport budget and resource management for mCDP product development, testing, and infrastructure monitoring teamsPartner with Global Marketing Customer Experience team to identify new, breakthrough marketing use cases to bring into the mCDP product suiteQualifications:Minimum 5-10 years of relevant work experience in customer data platforms and/or marketer activation toolsBachelor's degree in analytical fieldExperience in product managementExperience leading multiple complex, cross-functional projectsStrong analytics skills, root cause analysis experiences on internal and external data and processes to answer business questions and improve application performanceComfortable partnering and working with a wide range of stakeholders at various levels of management and leadershipStrong written and verbal communication skillsExperience presenting to executive level stakeholdersSelf-motivated with ability to set priorities and mentor others in a performance driven environmentPassion for technology and innovation & uncompromising attention to detailPreferred Skills: Extensive experience working with Agile methodologies and expertise in production deployment processes and continuous deployment best practicesExperience working with AWS product suiteExperience working with mParticle and Braze SaaS productsDemonstrated ability to lead complex teams including testing & production support teamsExperience developing Confluence pages and working with JiraAdditional Information:Benefits eligible: This position offers health and welfare benefits, a 401(k) plan, adoption assistance program, educational assistance program, flexible ways of working, and time off policies (including sick leave, parental leave, and vacation/PTO).
