About the Position: We are seeking a highly experienced and analytical Senior Manager II, Finance to support our Transportation team. This individual will be responsible for accurately planning and managing transportation metrics to optimize our variable cost structure. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of driving financial performance through data-driven insights and strategic planning.
Responsibilities include: Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop, refine, implement transportation and operations planning processes that support business objectivesDevelop and maintain accurate labor and financial models to identify trends and provide insights that drive key business decisionsAnalyze financial and operational data to identify trends, and opportunities to improve labor productivity, reduce costs, and improve efficienciesDevelop and deliver financial reporting to senior leadership on key performance metrics, budget versus actuals, and forecast variancesPerform ad-hoc analysis to support strategic initiatives and evaluate business opportunitiesEnsure accuracy and completeness of financial records and reports, while adhering to internal controls and compliance requirementsYou'll make an impact by: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial dataProven track record of collaborating with cross-functional teams and influencing senior leadershipExcellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholdersExperience with SQL, PowerBI, and BigQueryStrong business acumen and ability to think strategicallyYou will sweep us off our feet if… Producing compelling insights into business expectations as plans are developed and strategic direction is discussed and financial advice to executive leaders to enable decision makingLeveraging tools & channels of digital transformation to drive insights across the businessBuilding relationships to maximize relationships across the organization to drive strong communications, strategic alignment, and clear project managementOperating with excellence in driving the company strategy forward, delivering excellence, presenting at all levels, and developing yourself and othersThe above information has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed in the role. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include stock.
Minimum Qualifications...Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field and 4 years' experience in accounting, finance, or related area OR 6 years' experience in accounting, finance, or related area.
1 year's experience leading and completing cross-functional projects.
1 year's supervisory experience.
Preferred Qualifications...Analyzing data and interpreting results, Microsoft Office, Working in a large, complex, matrixed organization. Masters: Business Administration.
