Manager Indirect Tax Compliance – Cambridge, MA
Responsible for managing the sales and use tax function and other indirect taxes.
Implement controls to reduce company tax exposure.
Resolve issues that arise because of operations and various taxing jurisdictions.
Project and review tax calculations (ex.
CAT) and perform other indirect tax related assignments.
Your role:
Manages and oversees the administration of indirect taxes in all states, including sales and use tax, property tax, business license and unclaimed property implementing controls to reduce company indirect tax exposure.
Identifies and communicates solutions to complex, time-critical or recurring business issues related to indirect taxes that arise, other than support business units and or system changes.
Manages outsourcing agreements and contracts as related to the Indirect Tax filing engagements.
Provides leadership in supervising, mentoring training and supporting the development of indirect tax staff.

You're the right fit if:
You've acquired approximately 7+ years of experience in Indirect Tax (sales and use tax, property tax, business license and unclaimed property)
Your skills include experience and understanding of indirect tax in a multistate environment.
Strong supervisory experience and skills in mentoring and training staff.
Ability to monitor 3rd party contracts for compliance efficiency in reporting.
Proficiency in state and local tax issues, audit, tax research, provision, project work and planning.
Ability to multitask in a fast-moving environment and lead a Team of Tax Managers in assuring all Philip's companies are compliant.
You have a BA or BS in accounting, or related areas.
Ability to work with high volume data, multiple ERP systems (SAP preferred) and use of Vertex tax software.
You're a motivated individual, able to jump in and take the lead of multiple projects.

Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company's facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company's main facilities, generally at the customers' or suppliers' locations.

Philips Transparency Details
The pay range for this position in MA is $110,544 to $189,504
The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
