American Express Global Commercial Services (GCS) has a stated ambition to become the leading payments and working capital provider for Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) businesses helping them say yes to more opportunities and thrive. This includes ensuring each customer has access to business-sized purchase capacity, flexible payment options, meaningful rewards and the powerful backing of American Express.
The Card Lending Team supports this objective by developing compelling products, services and customer engagement strategies to meet small business owners' evolving buying and paying needs. As we innovate our lending offering, we are seeking a Senior Manager, Lending Product Managementwhere you will support a large cross-functional team to innovate in the lending space.The successful candidate will be an intellectually curious, customer-first thinker with strong project management and collaboration skills.

Key responsibilities include:
Work with leadership to support the development of a new on-card lending feature for our small business customers
Evaluate and quantify benefit to customer and business across key financial metrics 
Collaborate with Product Development, Tech, Marketing, Risk, Servicing, and other partners to translate strategy into business requirements and ensure solution meets business and regulatory requirements
Define Go to Market strategy, partnering with Marketing, Sales & Servicing
Support in execution of new features
Own and define reporting package, track performance
Monitor Blue Box/ Competitive movements
The ideal candidate has experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives, a customer-centric approach to design, knowledge of the small business segment, and a fluency in Lending economics and P&L management. 
Success will require a collaborative leader with the ability to work in a fast paced environment

Minimum Qualifications:
4+ years of relevant product and/or project management experience
Prior experience working in service of Small Business Owners as a segment
Prior experience with digital customer journeys and card-based lending economics
Strong customer attitude and experience putting customer insights into action
Comfortable working with partners with ability to influence toward shared outcomes
Excellent oral and written communications skills and proven ability to communicate effectively to audiences at various levels
Ability to collect and analyze data/insights to drive winning strategies
Ability to effectively multi-task and prioritize as business needs evolve
Bachelor's degree

Salary Range: $90,000.00 to $165,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
