We are seeking a Power BI Senior Manager and Analyst who will join an agile project team responsible for delivering all business reporting and analytics across Johnson Brothers and Prestige.
The ideal candidate will have broad experience in Microsoft Power BI and visualization tools and skills working with finance, sales, and operations enterprise data.
As part of our dynamic team, you will play a vital role in driving data insights for Johnson Brothers and Prestige Beverage Group, where innovation meets tradition by working closely with Business and Technical teams to turn data into critical information and knowledge that can be leveraged to make sound business decisions.
Responsibilities: Shape the future of Reporting: Engage business and development teams to design, and document dashboards, alerts, and reports Drive Strategic Initiatives: Prioritize and translate Power BI reporting requirements from business resources across Sales, Operations, and Executive teams into actionable work efforts for your team to deliver Build Collaborative Solutions: Work with BI and IT teams to establish data elements, sources, and relationships that drive our analytics efforts.
Design for Success: Develop scalable Power BI dashboards emphasizing usability, performance, and flexibility to support our growing business Maintain Documentation: Create and maintain documentation of data dictionary, data models, and report inventory tp streamline knowledge sharing Lead Project Management: Be accountable for providing project leadership including facilitating requirements gathering and presenting findings to all levels of management Foster Community Knowledge: Share your experience and collaborate with the business analyst community to promote best practices in BI, reporting, and data analysis.
Be responsible for project execution from original concept through completion per the company methodology Innovate: Partner with Analytics leads, to explore opportunities for integrating AI/ML into our strategy and enhancing our analytical capabilities Contribute to Architectural Solutions: Play a key role in the overall design and architecture of solutions that integrate internal and external data sources, ensuring efficient data flow from Azure to Power BI Apps Stakeholder Communication: Create and manage the BI stakeholder communication plan.
Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in MIS/CIS, business management, or related field; relevant experience will be considered.
A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with IT teams and technology Proven experience with Microsoft Power BI and Azure Cloud Data Storage with MS SQL, and Synapse BI tooling (i.e., Power Query, Power BI Desktop, Power BI Services, etc) in a private, public, government, or military environment Understanding of a distributor business model either in the retail, CPG and/or Beverage Alcohol industries a plus.
Required Job Competencies Proficiency with project management methodologies, particularly Agile and Waterfall.
Familiarity with DevOps, Jira, or equivalent project tracking software.
Basic knowledge of statistical methods to inform data-driven decisions.
Strong team player with a results-oriented self-starter capable of managing multiple projects with minimal supervision.
Mindset geared toward continuous improvement, with business/system analysis skills, use case development, and brainstorming.
Exceptional problem-solving and interpersonal skills complemented by excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
