Team Overview
We are in search of a Senior Manager SEC Reporting, Technical Accounting, and Compliance, who is ready to bring their leadership skills to our fast-paced environment.
This is an opportunity for someone who wants to be an active business partner across departments, work closely with Executive Management, and drive process improvement.
What you will do:
The Senior Manager, SEC Reporting, Technical Accounting and Compliance is primarily responsible for SEC Reporting, technical accounting, and administration of our SOX compliance program.
Our Senior Manager, SEC Reporting, Technical Accounting and Compliance will:
Assist in the close process including journal entry review and preparation of internal financial reports.
Assist in the preparation, review and management of quarterly and annual earnings releases, periodic SEC filings and regulatory disclosures.
Assist in developing quarterly financial reporting calendars and project plans.
Liaison with executive team, investor relations, legal counsel, and external auditors.
Review and maintain supporting documentation to substantiate information included in each SEC filing and regulatory disclosure.
Provide technical support on accounting issues to ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, SEC regulations and regulatory requirements, including preparation of technical accounting memos.
Implement disclosure changes for new accounting standards and regulatory rule/regulation changes.
Assist in external audit coordination.
Lead the Company's SOX compliance program.
Contribute to process improvements and implementation of automated financial tools.
Assist in training and developing staff.
What you will bring:
Strong knowledge of SEC Reporting and US GAAP.
SOX and internal controls experience.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail, demonstrated integrity and professionalism.
Ability to stay knowledgeable of, research and reach well-reasoned conclusions on financial reporting and disclosure issues.
Ability to multitask and prioritize a diverse range of tasks.
Excellent project managerial and interpersonal skills.
Ability to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects.
Proven ability to perform in a fast-paced environment and to adjust plans to meet changing needs and requirements.
Experience with financial and accounting reporting systems.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.
At least 6 years of accounting experience, or at least 4 years audit experience preferred.
Compensation and Benefits:
The benefits listed below may vary depending on the nature of your employment with Impinj and the country where you work.
The typical base pay range for this role across the US is $126,900-203,000.
Individual base pay depends on various factors such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties, requirements, and relevant experience and skills.
Both market wage data and the mid-point of the pay range is reviewed and used as the starting point for all new hire offers.
Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.
At Impinj certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus and stock.
These awards are allocated based on individual performance.
In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee's role.
