Senior Marine Project Engineer

We have a current opportunity with an independent operator for a Senior Marine Project Engineer on a permanent basis. The position will be based in London The Senior Marine Project Engineer will be reporting to Marine Lead and will be responsible to carry-out and coordinate the completion of various projects for marine department, from basic design to final commissioning, they will be involved in all technical parts of the Project. The Senior Marine Project Engineer will support and act on potential development, design, specification, and services related to FSO, FPSO, mooring systems, marine systems and marine equipment. Available for regular field visits / field work. *bachelor's degree upwards *>7 years relevant experiences in the oil and gas industry. Ideally from one of the following specialties: Floaters life extension and engineering calculations and design studies development. *Oil and Gas Industry experience in green-field and brown-field projects delivering offshore Floating Facilities *Scantling reassessment knowledge. *Competent in relationship management working with a diverse set of stakeholders including contractors and government regulators. *Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to interact effectively with people at all levels in the field and in the office as well as outside of the company. *Fluent English is mandatory. French a plus. *Proven track record of strong Continuous Improvement skills. Highly IT literate: Good working knowledge with GeniE-SESAM, USFOS, Orcaflex, Abaqus, Ansys, etc. If you have most of these IT skills but not all, it is still worth applying.
