What You Will be Doing:
Responsible for all phases of planning and execution the clients NEPA project requirements.
Leads and organizes a staff and enforces the safety and quality policies and procedures and addresses non-compliance among all employees, subcontractors, and vendors.
Supervises daily activities of project personnel including technical and administrative support and ensures that deliverables are produced on schedule and within budget.
Utilizes daily huddles to promote communication, resolve issues, and share ideas, so the projects are expeditiously and profitably constructed.
Leads the development of the project schedule with the Superintendent and ensures the team is executing to the plan.
Assists the Business Unit Leader in aggressively managing cash flow by adhering to the project invoicing schedule and ensures the team accurately documents and submits all receivables, quantity as-builts, change orders, and claims.
Produces complete subcontracts and ensures all subcontractors execute to the agreement and the company's standards. Ensures the required documentation is executed in a timely manner.
Estimates, prices, and negotiates owner initiated extra work, change of scope items, and contract deletions to maximize profits.
Actively develops client relations to generate opportunities for new work.
Actively participates in Marketing and Estimating department activities to assist in the development of capture plans, teaming strategies, and the technical approach and bid strategies on pursuits.
Represents the company to client and maintains client relationship.
Qualifications:
BS in engineering, science (Biology, Environmental Studies, Wildlife Biology, Community Planning, etc) required, MS preferred
Ten (10+) years leading NEPA planning efforts for DoD, military services throughout Hawaii and the Pacific area
ACIP, PE, RA or PMP required
MUST BE A US CITIZEN
