Essential Functions : Successful candidate will work on The WebMRE System. This system is designed to provide detailed information, requirements data and execution status to assist in the management and control of the MEDCASE/SuperCEEP program. The MEDCASE/SuperCEEP Program is a centrally managed, Department of the Army (DA)-level program which utilizes Defense Health Program (DHP) Procurement and Operations and Maintenance (O&M) funds, respectively, for the acquisition of capital investment equipment for fixed Army Medical Department (AMEDD) Activities worldwide. The program also manages the approval and acquisition of investment medical device requirements that are funded by medical Military Construction (MILCON) funds for major medical construction projects.
Responsibilities: Interfaces with clients and team members to develop requirements and specifications. Codes and tests according to design specifications and solution architecture guidelines. Utilizes skills in coding, testing, and implementing configuration changes to software applications to meet both functional and non-functional requirements. Unit tests applications and develops system and user documentation. Performs a challenging range and variety of complex technical or professional work activities. Produce code using .NET languages (C#, VB .NET) Upgrading, configuring and debugging existing systems Takes full accountability for own technical work and/or project responsibilities.
Requirements/Experience: BA/BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Mathematics. 5+ years of experience with all aspects of a Software Development Life Cycle (design, development, testing, and deployment). 5+ years of progressive development experience in a Java or .NET environment utilizing RDBMSs. Excellent communication skills with internal teams as well as external customers. Must be able to overnight travel up to 50% if necessary. Must be a self-starter that can work towards a goal with limited direction or supervision.
