Network Engineer- 100% Remote Optomi, in partnership with an industry leader, is seeking a Network Engineer for a remote position.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving our current network configuration and infrastructure.
This person design our revamped network infrastructure with the goal of maximizing our network performance.
Responsibilities Maintain, implement, and troubleshoot networsDesign and support network systems and infrastructureConfigure and operate routers and switches, also some wireless involved as wellMonitor network performance and make recommendations based on performance analysis Apply today if your background includes Ability to work a remote, contract roleRouting, switching, firewall experience- Cisco, BGP, OSPF, Meraki, etcNetwork support and troubleshooting experience for a large network with many users/customersFirewall experience- configuration, troubleshooting, policies, upgrades, etc.Experience troubleshooting network tickets and other day to day tasksAny cloud networking/automation experience is a plus
