Senior Nuclear Medicine Technologist Join our dedicated team in San Francisco, CA, as a Senior Nuclear Medicine Technologist, providing top-tier diagnostics and therapeutic care through advanced nuclear medicine techniques.

Salary: $150,000.00 - $210,000.00 per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Perform routine to complex diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures using radiopharmaceuticals to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment.Ensure safe operation within an acute care setting, collaborating seamlessly with anesthesia and other patient care departments.Responsible for the collection, preparation, and analysis of biological specimens, preparing data for interpretation.Conduct radiation safety and quality control procedures on all Nuclear Medicine equipment as mandated by the department.Provide guidance and training to staff, students, residents, and faculty, enhancing department capabilities and service delivery.Participate actively in clinical protocol and research development, as well as in quality assurance and radiation safety meetings.Minimum Position Qualifications: Current certification as CTNM: NMTCB or ARRT (N).Valid California state license from the CA Department of Public Health, Certified Technologist, Nuclear Medicine.Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) Certification required.Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine training program.Flexibility in scheduling, ability to rotate locations and shifts, and provide weekend coverage.Preferred Qualifications: Seven or more years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, especially in a lead or supervisory role.Proven track record of involvement in performance improvement projects and leadership in quality assurance initiatives.Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain clinical protocols, both for routine diagnostics and research purposes.Skills: Exceptional competency in the use of nuclear medicine technology and equipment.Strong analytical skills to accurately analyze biologic specimens and interpret data.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of educating and leading others.Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team and adapt to varied team roles.Benefits: 401(k) with company matchingComprehensive health, vision, and dental insuranceGenerous paid time off and flexible scheduling optionsProfessional development assistance and tuition reimbursementEmployee discount programs and referral bonuses
