Join Micron's Technology Development Group as a Senior or Principal Engineer in Metals/Implant Equipment Development (PVD/CVD/IMPLANT). You will be part of a team in Boise, ID, working on groundbreaking projects that revolutionize information usage to improve life for everyone. Your work will play a vital role in advancing memory and storage solutions, encouraging faster learning, communication, and progress.
Responsibilities:
Define and maintain hardware modifications to support and improve new and existing processes.
Provide equipment support for R&D Thin Films CVD/Metal/Implant Development efforts, ensuring flawless tool performance.
Drive analytical analysis using various instrumental techniques and successfully implement innovative ideas from research to execution.
Manage and coordinate the installation, maintenance, and documentation for R&D 300mm Thin Films CVD/PVD/IMPLANT equipment.
Collaborate with process engineering and prioritize workload to meet strict project timelines and achieve ambitious goals.
Qualifications & Skills:
Over 10 years of experience with vacuum-based deposition and/or implant equipment in R&D or high-volume manufacturing.
Hands-on experience with platforms such as ULVAC ENTRON, AMAT ENDURA, CANON PVD, LAM CVD, TEL CVD, EUGENUS CVD, ASM CVD, VARIAN IMPLANT, AXCELIS IMPLANT, AMAT IMPLANT.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills with a proven track record of determining and closing hardware gaps.
Outstanding communication skills to effectively summarize and detail experimental work and progress.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, adapting to Micron's evolving needs while promoting a safe work environment.
Education and Experience:
PhD or Master's Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience in these fields.
