Experienced Oracle Cloud Admin (OCI Admin)Responsible for managing and maintaining Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
Will have a deep understanding of cloud architecture and hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud services. Involves designing, implementing, and maintaining OCI environments to ensure optimal performance, security, and availability.
Design, deploy, and manage OCI environments, ensuring high availability and scalability.Build a security-first mindset into everything you do, implement and maintain security policies, identity and access management (IAM), and compliance standards to safeguard data and applications.Monitor cloud infrastructure performance, perform tuning, and optimize resource usage to meet performance benchmarks.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and services, providing timely support and escalation when necessary.Maintain high-quality written documentation of cloud architecture, configurations, and procedures.Design and implement backup and disaster recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and availability.Collaborate with cross-functional technical and business teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of cloud-based applications and services.Understand existing legacy on-prem processes and layers.Drive and take part in discovery sessions and technical presentations.Focus on the automation of cloud services delivery using Terraform, the OCI-CLI, OCI Python SDK, and GitOps practices.Stay up-to-date on Oracle Cloud best practices and new features.Experienced with large-scale IT transformations.Able to work independently and as part of a team.Conversant in high-level programming languages and frameworks.Flexible and open to change.8+ years of experience working with Oracle Cloud services.Proficiency with Oracle RAC Databases, WebLogic Server Clustering, CloudGuard, OIC, Identity Domains, Networking, and Network Security Groups.Experience with cloud automation tools such as Terraform to automate routine tasks, deployment processes, and infrastructure.Strong understanding of security principles and IAM.Experience with OCI Security, CIS Benchmarks, Vulnerability Scanning and Remediation, Network Security Groups, and Security Lists.Experience in lifecycle management, upgrades, and patching of DB and Compute.Experience in managing distributed IT services on-prem and in the cloud.Ability to work effectively with remote teams.Good understanding of Agile methodologies and the Scrum framework.Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Solid presentation skills and attention to detail.Familiarity with AWS, Snowflake, Git, and Python is a plus.Oracle Cloud certifications, or equivalent in AWS, GCP, or Azure, are a plus.
