Planned Parenthood of Northern New England is seeking an Advanced Practice Clinician (NP, CNM) to fill a full time, exempt, Senior Philanthropy Officer, this position is based hybrid remote and in Concord, NH. The Senior Philanthropy Officer will be responsible for securing major philanthropic investments in support of the mission and objectives of Planned Parenthood of Northern New England. The Senior Philanthropy Officer will play a critical role in generating support for capital and general operating needs to the organization and serve as the primary moves manager for a portfolio of approximately 75 to 100 current and prospective major donors. The Senior Philanthropy Officer will work collaboratively across all parts of the organization and develop relationships with board members and staff volunteer leadership activities and groups that aim to stimulate or increase major gift fundraising. The Senior Philanthropy Officer will supervise any state-based Philanthropy Officers and any Philanthropy Associates and serves as the state-based strategy leader of their state They will work in partnership with the Senior Philanthropy Director, who leads major gifts operations. 
\n CHARACTERISTIC RESPONSIBILITIES:Provides exceptional patient-centered care, in a manner that ensures compliance with current efficiency and productivity standards.Responsible for accurately coding for medical services provided, in support of the organization's overall revenue cycle.  Provides health care that is culturally and linguistically appropriate to patient populations. Conducts comprehensive medical history interviews  Performs appropriate physical exams, with focus on the reproductive system, including standard initial and annual exams, and screening procedures  Assesses patient's health status and prescribes appropriate contraceptive methods, treatments for GYN problems, per PPNNE protocols Dispenses medications from the health center formulary in accordance with protocolsProvides abortion counseling and follow-up care  Refers patients to physicians and other health or social services as appropriate, following the medical referral protocol.  Counsels/educates patients regarding general reproductive health care; all FDA-approved methods of birth control, including emergency contraception; pregnancy options including abortion, adoption and parenting; and related health, emotional and social problems/issues Adheres to all reporting requirements and state laws relevant to the abuse of minors  Utilizes EHR system to its fullest potential to ensure accurate documentation, billing, and optimal patient and population-based outcomes.  Consults regularly with supervisor and other PP staff to plan, coordinate and evaluate services, and to review specific cases  Consults regularly with outside health and social service providers (i.e. Dept. of Public Health) to make referrals, coordinate treatment of/assistance to individual patients, coordinate general services, etc.  Participates in after-hours on call rotation for patients. This includes responsibility for notifying appropriate medical and administrative site staff of after-hours contact When required, assists in clinic administration, including, staff training, clinic set up and maintenanceParticipates in various PP community education and/or public affairs activitiesParticipates in quality assurance auditsMay perform other relevant duties as directed by Regional Clinical Director or Medical DirectorDemonstrates flexibility and teamwork; understands that staffing needs and schedules fluctuate, which will require a flexible work schedule and/or additional work hours; willing tolisten and contribute to department, site, and agency discussions and decision-making; incorporates customer satisfaction into all aspects of operation QUALIFICATIONSMaster's degree and completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant programCommitment to exceptional customer service and satisfactionCommitment to a team orientation and willingness to participate in constant and ongoing feedback with colleaguesFlexibility, initiative, creative thinking, and a willingness to learn required.Broad based clinical GYN knowledge and skillsFamiliarity with and ability to comfortably discuss all services provided by PPNNEExcellent counseling/teaching skillsAbility to relate to a broad range of people and communicate clearly, using tact, discretion and sensitivity with patientsKnowledge of community resources and referral agencies desirableAbility to sit for up to 4 hr., stand for up to 4 hour and walk for up to 1 hour a day with frequent stoopingAbility to operate all normal office equipmentAbility to travel within PPNNE affiliate for trainings or meetings as appropriate COMPENSATION & BENEFITSCandidates with 0-4 years of experience can expect to earn between $74,568/yr - $80,710/yr. As experience increases, so does the rate of pay, with candidates who have 15 or more years of direct experience earning up to $105,000/yr.Access to benefits is available and includes health, dental and vision coverage, paid time off and a retirement fund.
