Senior Power Bi Developer

Position Summary We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power BI.
You will transform raw data into meaningful insights through interactive dashboards and reports, enabling informed business decisions to senior leadership.
Responsibilities Develop, publish, and schedule Power BI reports and dashboards.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Create data models and establish data connections to various data sources.
Optimize Power BI dashboards with a focus on usability and performance.
Implement and maintain data security and access controls.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Power BI reports and data.
Stay updated with the latest Power BI features and best practices Partner directly with senior leadership to understand the reporting needs in order to perform the necessary ETL to build successful tools in Power Bi.
Requirements Specific Qualifications (items are required unless otherwise noted) 5-10 years of related work experience A strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Advanced excel skills (look up functions, sumif, sumifs, index match, choose, etc.)
preferred.
Unquestioned integrity, ethics, and the values appropriate to a leader of the company.
Well established interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach to integrate policies and procedures.
Resourceful, innovative, and progressive.
A self-starter who can take conceptual direction to achieve desired outcomes.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Power BI Developer or in a similar role.
Proficiency in Power BI, including Power Query, DAX, and Power BI Service.
Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
Experience with SQL and relational databases.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skill.
Microsoft Access/database query experience is preferred.
