Our client is a nationally ranked academic medical center and teaching hospital located in downtown Chicago, Illinois.
The hospital provides a total of 900 inpatient beds and encompasses more than 3 million square feet of medical building space.
They are ranked as the sixth best hospital in the United States, ranked number one in the Chicago metro area, and ranked number one in the state of Illinois according to the 2019 U.S. News & World Report America's Best Hospitals "Honor Roll" report.
They have an immediate need for a Senior Practice Manager for their world renown Cardiovascular Institute.
This Practice Manager is responsible for the management and oversight of approximately 95 staff and provides operational oversight for a clinic with 90 providers seeing roughly 85,000 visits annually.
They would own the fiscal responsibility for the clinic budget, ensure both system level and departmental goals are attained, and provide oversight on new and ongoing departmental projects.
The ideal candidate for this role is a strong and experienced clinical leader with a nursing background.
Qualifications:

Required:

Bachelors Degree.
5 years health care experience.
Experience working within a clinical environment.
Outpatient setting experience.
Desired:

Master of Business Administration (MBA) or Master of Health Administration (MHA).
Academic medical center health care experience.
Licensed professional nurse or advance practice provider in the State of Illinois or eligible.
