Your key tasks and responsibilities will be Carry out track designs and provision of technical support throughout to support all stages of design.Independently deliver / manage the production of design deliverables in accordance with client requirements.Review the work of less experience engineers and CAD technicians in the team and maintaining quality of deliverables,Overseeing and troubleshooting the work of geometric design of P-way/Rail tracks, guide the less experienced engineers in carrying out the design and preparation of the drawings.Keep up to date with industry best practice and where appropriate apply best practice within the team environment.Proposes approach to solve new problems encountered.Provides guidance to entry level engineers.Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule with little supervision.Your starting point for constant growth From the moment you join Ramboll, we will support your personal and professional development so that you grow with the company. We are looking for self-motivated team members who meet the following requirements:
BE/B. Tech degree in Civil Engineering from an institute of repute. ME/ M. Tech would be desirableShould have 10-12 years of experience in P-way design. Knowledge of German rail design codes and other international standards would be desirable.Knowledge of understanding of the analysis and design principles of Track & P-way Design, Regression Analysis of existing Railway Lines, design of Depot/ Yard DesignHave hands on experience in using ProVI design softwareGerman language professional working proficiency (Level B1/B2) is requiredShould have knowledge of tools like AutoCAD/ MicroStation and preparing drawings in accordance with internationally recognized standard formatsUnderstanding of multi-discipline railway design interfacesHave technical / functional acumen, he should have good communication skills and should be able to present their work.Should be a good team member, self-motivated and should coordinate with other team members and the project manager for timely delivery of projectGood communication skills (English language skills in written and verbal) and the ability to work within a small team whilst having a dedicated approach to working within and meeting strict project deadlinesSoftware's Required - ProVI, AutoCAD
Experience Required - 10-12 Years
Language - German language professional working proficiency (Level B1/B2)
