About the team + roleRobinhood is seeking a forward-thinking Senior Privacy Engineer to join our team.
This role is designed to support the broader Privacy Compliance and Engineering function within Robinhood's Security organization.
As part of our team, you will work with various departments within Robinhood to ensure our products and services uphold the highest standards of data privacy, transparency, and trust.
What you'll doPerform comprehensive privacy engineering reviews as part of Robinhood's Privacy by Design program.
This entails evaluating existing and new technical designs, identifying privacy risks and compliance issues, and recommending technical controls or enhancements to ensure privacy-by-design principles are fully integrated.Work closely with Engineering, Product Management, Legal, and Compliance teams to integrate privacy-by-design principles into product and technology development and business processes.Design comprehensive privacy solutions, developing robust frameworks and strategies to ensure compliance with global data protection regulations.Direct the selection and implementation of privacy-enhancing technologies (PETs).
Ensure these technologies are aligned with our privacy strategy and contribute to the robustness of our data protection efforts.Evaluate emerging privacy technologies, frameworks, and regulatory requirements, including potential impact on our privacy strategy and recommend adjustments to maintain compliance and enhance data protection.Drive initiatives to facilitate knowledge sharing and best practices in data privacy within technical teams.
