Job Title: Senior Procurement Manager

Position Summary: As the Senior Procurement Manager you will be responsible for the management of the procurement personnel and all day to day procurement activities on Arcadis / DPS projects.
Interacting with the project managers, department managers, client personnel, accounts payable and procurement staff to ensure that the procurement activities are handled in an ethical manner to achieve the best pricing and schedule for the project.
Responsible for the oversight of the procurement data bases, Procore, Deltek, ConstructSecure, and any other systems used by procurement.
Responsible for establishing standardized procedures, methods, and processes for procurement.

Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree, 15+ years of experience Language Ability: Read, analyse, and interpret scientific and technical construction documents.Respond to inquiries or complaints from customers and clients.

This position will work in an office or construction site.This position may be required to work at DPS contracted sites with varying changes in settings to include temperature, indoor and/or outdoor settings.Noise levels will be high at times depending upon work location.
Should be prepared to work in all level of noise and wear protective hearing equipment as needed.Must wear required PPE as required by DPS or its contractors.As a part of this environment, there may be the need to wear cleanroom coveralls and follow client hygiene protocols.Will embrace a safe work environment and support a workplace of respect, appreciation, and acceptance for everyone.Ability to travel to off-site locations in a timely and efficient manner.Ability to work outside regular business hours as required.
