As a Procurement Systems Manager at Zoox, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement technology systems that support our sourcing, purchasing, and supplier management functions. This role will involve optimizing our procurement processes, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and working with technical counterparts to support system changes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in procurement systems, and program management and a deep understanding of supply chain management.
In this role, you will:
System Management: Oversee the procurement systems, ensuring they are effectively integrated with other business processes and technologies.
Process Optimization: Analyze procurement workflows and identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements.
Data Analysis: Generate reports and insights to inform procurement strategies, track performance metrics, and support decision-making.
Vendor Management: Collaborate with IT, Business Applications and third-party vendors to ensure the procurement systems are maintained and updated.
User Training & Support: Develop training materials and conduct workshops to educate team members on system functionalities and best practices.
Compliance & Governance: Ensure that procurement processes comply with relevant regulations and organizational policies.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with procurement, finance, and operational teams to gather requirements and implement system enhancements.
Project Management: Lead system implementation and improvement projects, including timelines, resource allocation, and stakeholder communication.
Continuous Improvement: Stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance procurement systems and practices.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in procurement systems management or related roles.
Strong knowledge of procurement processes, tools, and best practices.
Experience with procurement software (e.g., SAP Ariba, Coupa, Oracle Procurement Cloud) and data analytics tools.
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Strong analytical skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Certifications in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CPSM, CSCP) are a plus.
There are three major components to compensation for this position: pay, Amazon Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), and Zoox Stock Appreciation Rights. The pay range for this position is $163,000 to $205,000. A sign-on bonus may be offered as part of the compensation package. Compensation will vary based on geographic location and level. Leveling, as well as positioning within a level, is determined by a range of factors, including, but not limited to, a candidate's relevant years of experience, domain knowledge, and interview performance. The pay range listed in this posting is representative of the range of levels Zoox is considering for this position.
