Position Summary
The Senior Product Manager is responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the product Lifecycle, including: gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, sales & marketing teams.
The Product Manager ensures that the product supports the company's overall strategy and goals.
PRINCIPLE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Define the product strategy and roadmap for the Product, Modules and Sub modules.
* Establish strategic direction with overall business unit strategy.
* Collaborate with senior management to define, establish and achieve overall objectives for the product line.
* Implement growth strategy through product enhancements, extensions, and product partnerships
* Manage product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities.
* Accountable to own & maintain the functionalities for assigned modules/group of modules.
* Be an expert on assigned product components & also with respect to the competition.
* Drive & manage Jiva core product track and client specific solutions track side by side.
* Responsible to accept or reject any CR/ER along-with logical reasons behind his/her decision.
* Mentor & manage teams of Product analysts to deliver product artefacts (BCDs, BRDs and PRD/FRS).
* Gain expertise across all modules of all ZeOmega products
* Accountable to Review / approve / reject product artefacts.
* Provide artefacts walkthrough sessions to all cross functional teams and answer their queries;
* Drive product strategy by market research, competitor's research, policy & tech feasibility impacts.
* Work with PD teams to share product vision, clarify queries, resolve issues & provide solutions.
* Work as point of contact for Implementation teams to provide effective solutions for active projects.
* Work with SME's to review solutions for policy & customer practices impact on ER/CR & NPI's.
* Work with SME's all cross-functional teams to bring ideas for ER/NPI's and prepare business case.
* Work with sales teams to help them on RFP's, accompany them for client presentations.
* Work with marketing teams on market positioning, market sizing and & product promotions.
* Work with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities.
* Run beta and pilot programs with early-stage products and samples.
* Be creative & curious to bring NPI and act as a leader for driving Product Vision.
* Lead, coach and motivate direct reports and indirect partners to achieve success as one team
* 10-12 years of experience in relevant technology and industry
Education
BTech / BE/M Tech / MCA/ BSc/ MSc with MBA (preferred).
